Kneipe Domsgickel in Mainz

A really quaint pub, withdrawn from the street. Outside a large heated and covered seating area, inside for friends of dark paneling. The service is warm and personal, as if you weren't in Berlin at all. The beer tastes really good there. It is also important in these times that the pandemic measures are taken seriously here.

The best grog in town!

You don't want to reveal it, but the backyard has its own charm, you can feel comfortable here. Otherwise a classic of the Mainz scene behind the cathedral. Always worth a visit

Charming pub with friendly staff.

Already good but expensive

Outside in the back yard you can sit very nicely. If you want to chat a little comfortably and maybe have a bite to eat, you are in good hands here. Even if the 7th of us were there and everyone got the food one after the other (so the first ones were already ready when they got the food in the middle), it was a nice evening and the food was very good.

Cozy pub, cheap drinks, nice staff, football and a pleasant atmosphere. So always worth a visit! :)

Mexican 1 €, says everything ... To say more anyway: Good selection of drinks, very student-friendly prices. Shower facilities with the neighbors, but only cold and sporadically. Outside area closes quite early, so I can't judge. Nice staff, also to foreigners. Decoration a bit kitsch, but is negligible after the first few meters.

The landlord is a grumpy bear - you have to like that. I love it.

Quaint, relaxed, good beer selection

Drinks good and service friendly but overloaded, 2 hours waiting for food, the cook's statement that oil is used instead of fresh garlic gives exactly one star. Correction to 2 points, we had fun, there was vegan food and we could sit outside.

Flammkuchen tastes like cardboard, ballot papers mislaid. The first meal came after an hour, the last after over three hours.

Order mixed up, waited for a few tarte flambées over 2 hours. Operation is rare. Service is different.

As always, it was great! Super nice people and good food. The cocktails are as far as I can judge almost all super mixed, whereby I can particularly recommend the Caipirovka.

Nice little pub. Friendly staff and quick service. Food and drinks are good and the prices are ok. However, you sit very close to each other, which narrows you down a bit.

Very comfortable, good selection of drinks and food. It is also quite cheap, a drink and food for just under 10 €. Unfortunately a bit small, for larger groups you have to definitely book.

The food & service were 1st class!

If you like Table Football you might want to check this place out. There are regular friendly tournaments and most people are really good - as in "Bundesliga Player" good. Nevertheless, the bar has a "Kneipen" feeling to it. The drinks are fairly priced, but there isn't much variety in the cocktail department.

Really sweet 'Kneipe' with great food and and a variety of drinks for fair prices. Service is super friendly and it even has a smoking room and a little garden area. Would always go there again!
